CURRENTLY IN FEDERAL PRISON
FOR DOING THE RIGHT THING.
HE SHOULD NOT BE THERE.
Teddy Miller has spent two years in federal prison. The public was given one version of what happened. The documents, the timeline, and Teddy's life before this case tell a very different story.
FEDERAL INMATE 29759-511
THE MEDIA LIED TO YOU.
They called Teddy a “fake millionaire.” They made “The Wolf of West Virginia” sound like a fraud nickname even though it came from his nightclub years earlier. They repeated the government's accusations while Teddy sat in jail with no comparable platform to answer them.
Not one of the outlets that defined Teddy for the public interviewed him. Calls were made. Messages were sent. People asked them to look at the evidence and hear Teddy's side. The public got one story anyway.
LOOK AT WHAT THE GOVERNMENT DID.
HIDDEN AND ERASED

Teddy spent more than 30 days in custody before the indictment was filed. He was trying to understand and fight a federal case from inside a jail cell.
SEE WHAT HAPPENED →NO BOND

Despite having no prior criminal record, Teddy was repeatedly denied bond. Every part of his defense had to be built while he remained locked up.
SEE WHAT HAPPENED →THEY LIED AND STOLE FROM HIM

The FBI took Teddy's iPhone from inside his home. An agent later acknowledged in court that they did not have authority to take it. Teddy was then charged with obstruction after trying to report the phone stolen.
READ THE PHONE FILE →THEY CONVINCED HIS BUSINESS PARTNERS HE SCAMMED THEM

One day after the indictment, federal agents seized Teddy's websites and replaced them with a government seizure notice—before a trial and before a conviction.
SEE WHAT HAPPENED →THEY STOLE HIS MONEY

Personal and business money was frozen before conviction. Teddy lost access to the resources he needed to pay bills, support people around him, and fight the case the way he wanted.
SEE WHAT HAPPENED →THEY WENT AFTER HIS WIFE UNTIL HE AGREED TO TELL EVERYONE HE WAS GUILTY.

Pressure spread beyond Teddy. His wife and family were pulled into the case while Teddy was still trying to fight from inside federal custody.
SEE WHAT HAPPENED →Teddy Miller was tortured, harassed, publicly humiliated, and erased so that he would never get a chance to tell a jury his side.
TEDDY MILLER IS INNOCENT.
The deeper you look, the less the government's story makes sense.
HE CAME HOME.
Teddy Miller had tens of thousands of dollars in passive income every single month from his rentals and businesses, residences in a few different countries, a dog in Peru, and more money than he knew what to do with. If he wanted to disappear, he could have. But he found out someone was stealing from his investors and he came back to investigate. If he was the thief, he would have disappeared.
$25 MILLION vs. ABOUT $400K.
A 2022 financial statement listed Teddy's net worth above $25 million. The restitution ordered at sentencing was about $400,000.
THE LIFE CAME FIRST.
The businesses, properties, cars, travel and lifestyle existed before the investor accusations. The timeline does not fit the image of a man who needed investor money to create his life.
HE KEPT TRYING TO PAY PEOPLE BACK.
Even at sentencing, Teddy was still trying to sell his own properties so investors could be repaid.
THEIR STORY ONLY WORKS IF YOU IGNORE THE RECORD.
THIS WAS TEDDY MILLER.
Before the FBI, before the headlines and before federal prison, Teddy spent years building businesses, buying property, employing people, traveling and helping people around him. The life the headlines treated like proof of fraud existed before the accusations.
REAL ESTATE & CONSTRUCTION

Teddy Miller didn't inherit a construction empire. He built one. It started in 2014 with a high-end materials and distribution company he created from scratch. From there came a construction company handling residential and commercial finish work. Then Teddy began buying abandoned and neglected properties—the “shit holes” everyone else had given up on—and transforming them into modern, affordable places for people to live. At his peak, Teddy's businesses directly and indirectly kept more than 100 people working. He had been involved in rebuilding thousands of properties for himself and others and accumulated a portfolio of a few hundred rental properties across multiple markets.
BUSINESS & ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Teddy was always overly ambitious and loved helping people start businesses. That somehow led to engineering, painting, appliance repair, gambling machines, nightclubs, hotels, Airbnbs, music production, VIP vacations, and plenty more. Some people collect hobbies. Teddy collected businesses.
ONLINE INFLUENCER

Teddy Miller was an online influencer whose main purpose was to encourage others to not be a pussy and go make money. He developed the platform after he had been traveling the world for two years and working mostly remotely. He had a few million followers and averaged 10 million views a month.
HE HELPED PEOPLE

Teddy Miller rebuilt shitholes, employed hundreds of guys coming out of prison who were in halfway houses, housed battered and abused women, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, helped rebuild homeless lives, and overall sacrificed so much of his happiness to help others.
WON’T PLEAD GUILTY? FINE. WE WILL MAKE YOU.
Teddy refused to plead guilty to crimes he didn't commit. When the government finally realized they fucked up, instead of admitting what they did and releasing him, they ruined his life and went after his life's work and everyone he cared about—constantly reminding him that all he needed to do was plead guilty and it all could stop. But he didn't, and he ended up losing everything.
SEE THE DESTRUCTION →AND NOW HE'S BROKE.
FROM AN EIGHT-FIGURE NET WORTH TO ASKING THE COURT TO WAIVE A FILING FEE.
By trying to do what was right and then standing up for himself, he lost everything he ever worked for—but that wasn't the worst of it.
Teddy had an emergency fund just like most people, but when the government froze his money he still owed employees and his family depended on him. So instead of using the money for himself—and knowing he was innocent—he took a chance and once again did the right thing and spent all of it taking care of others. Now he's broke and could use someone looking out for him.
DON'T TRUST GOFUNDME BUT WANT TO HELP?
I DON'T BLAME YOU. SEND IT TO HIM DIRECTLY.
2 YEARS AND NO LETTERS. A FEW MESSAGES. AND THAT'S ABOUT IT.
Teddy spent years showing up when other people needed something—jobs, business help, housing, money, advice or a second chance. Prison made his world very small. The calls got quieter. The circle got smaller.
HE SPENT YEARS SHOWING UP FOR OTHER PEOPLE.
NOW HE NEEDS PEOPLE TO SHOW UP FOR HIM.
A letter does not have to solve his case. A picture does not have to change the world. Sometimes Teddy just needs to know someone on the outside still remembers him.
TWO YEARS LATER AN INNOCENT MAN AND PILLAR OF THE COMMUNITY IS STILL IN FEDERAL PRISON AND HE NEEDS YOUR HELP.
Teddy has been trying to get his case in front of the Court of Appeals for nearly a year. He has fought with appointed counsel, repeatedly tried to represent himself, and eventually wrote his own appeal from federal prison.
His appeal still isn't moving.
LEARN MORE →THEY EXPECTED HIM TO GIVE UP.
HE DIDN'T.
Since all of this started, Teddy has been screwed over by more people and businesses than he can count. Now he's fighting back—not just to recover what's owed to him and his investors, but to make damn sure they can't do it to someone else.
TEDDY IS SITTING IN FEDERAL PRISON.
YOU AREN'T.
You can go places Teddy can't. You can reach people Teddy can't. You can put this story in front of someone who has never heard his side. The most important thing you can do right now is make one more person look.
THEY DO NOT GET TO TAKE HIS VOICE.
